The First Amendment and Troy Toast

What old man has not dreamed of spending his retirement in a sleepy fishing village and occupying a little table in the corner of the local Cafe every morning. All while five beautiful women bring him fantastic food and drink. Throw in the worlds greatest dog curled up at his feet and you would think, “It just doesn’t get any better”.

But you would be wrong my friends. I have achieved all that and more. Introducing baked Troy Toast as a special on the menu. They take an already awesome cinnamon roll style pastry made with a secret light and flakey dough, slice it in half and fry it up french toast style ( the original “Troy Toast”) or bake it in a cake pan. Served with a swizzle of maple syrup and maybe a dollop of fresh whipped cream and you have arrived in heaven without having to die.

Yes friends, I have this every friggin day. Eat your hearts out, or you could just come and visit, I’ll share.

I am so proud to be associated with this establishment. My relationship is such that we barter my limited but varied skill set for food. I am a so happy. Here’s the deck dining area.

I would love to hear from any constitutional lawyer friends (you know who you are) about the following:

You’ve probably heard that the first amendment does not give us permission to yell FIRE in a crowded theater. I would ask if this would not also apply to a claim that being forced to wear a mask in public is a violation of your first amendment rights?

Please be safe out there, protect you and the rest of society by being responsible.

About

So far I've reached acceptable proficiency at the following, in chronological order: Silversmith, infantryman/door gunner, helicopter pilot, fireman, carpenter, residential contractor, FAA Air Traffic Control Specialist and crotchety old retired guy. Currently, I'm learning to fly again and that is what this is all about. 7/7/2020 edit: As I have had the opportunity to reflect (old people do that a lot) on my actual proficiency level at the above occupations, I feel adjustments are in order. The term "acceptable" depends on the observer, their own proficiency and experience level. Acceptable to me might be woefully deficient to the master. I think it would be more accurate to claim that I have earned a living wage at all of these occupations but never got rich. Actually, I feel that I have gotten rich at the last one. I have what I need and am profoundly grateful for all of it. The future looks bright indeed, as I have learned to fly again. For that I have all of you to thank. Thank You!

Re Masks: we are required to wear seat belts in cars. We are required to have certain safety devices on board boats and aircraft. We are required to turn our headlights on at night when driving. The only person not in favor of masks is the traitor in the White House who favors the leader of the former Soviet Union who has dispatched special soldiers to Afghanistan with orders to pay the Taliban for killing American Soldiers.
It’s time for him to go for the sake of the country. He wasn’t there when we stood up for the country whether we wanted too or not, never has been, and sure as hell isnt now
