Ahhhh Winter
Got our first dusting last night. Just another example of rampant climate change; it usually doesn’t snow before Halloween. The mountains are just beginning to show their winter coats.

I’m sponsoring the local Steller Jay population this winter. Here’s their new feeding station.
They strip a corn cob in minutes but they prefer peanuts. They will gladly take it out of your fingers if you will remove the shell.
Don’t know what to expect for trick or treaters tomorrow. Colleen, the neighbor they come to first in our condos has offered to deal with them. Then I can flag off the stairs to my unit. Hopefully, they won’t consider that a challenge. I’m considering setting up a downspout to disperse candy from my front door to the landing below. What could possibly go wrong?
Going to be clear and cold for a few days, perfect weather for an election.
Stay safe out there.
